Life is bigger than what you see

Life is bigger than simply what you see.  In fact, I'd argue that life is more about what you can't see.  Every day people are limited by what they allow themselves to see.  My prayer is that God opens our eyes daily to the reality of who He is, and who He has called us to be, so that we can see for ourselves a small portion of what God sees when He sees our life.

Sometimes it's worth simply reminding yourself that God sees what you can't see.  He sees us as we really are, both at our best and worst.  But when we often think of ourselves, and even our lives, it's usually through the lens of seeing ourselves at our worst.  Don't get me wrong, God sees that part of us too.  But I believe He chooses to see us at our best.  You have to remember, this is the same God who created us.  In fact, He's still in the business of making us into the people He's designed us to be.  You have to remember, when you're creating something you're not fixated on the flaws of your creation.  No, what you have in mind is something more grand and more important.  You're envisioning the end result.  It's a comforting thought to know that everyday when I awake, start my day, deal with the doubts and flaws that come with being human, God is patiently focusing on my end result.
